The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop at Union Depot on Tuesday, December 10 for a musical performance. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash or a healthy food donation to benefit local food shelves. Feline Rescue volunteers are offering free nail clippings for cats and kittens at the Chuck & Don's Plymouth East location on the 3rd Saturdays of the month from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Earn your stripes and join the Minnesota Zoo for their annual Tiger Tracks 5K to raise money for wildlife conservation. The race starts at the Shady Oaks Picnic area and follows a course through the zoo on outdoor trails. You're invited to a puppy shower in support of NDLB rescue puppies. Adoptable pups will be onsite looking for their fur-ever home. Can’t take a pup home, but want to help? Bring some supplies for them: food, treats, toys, bowls, collars, leashes, etc.
Treats for both doggies and humans will be available.

Vail Place, a non-profit organization providing comprehensive services,support and resources for those with mental illnesses, is hosting its 18thannual Tour de Vail – Roll & Stroll for Mental Health on Sunday, July 21st, 2019. Participants may walk, run, bike, skate or blade around and through Hopkins, ending at the Hopkins Clubhouse, to gain donations, inspire hope and raise awareness. Trillium Woods will host a community “Car Wash for a Cause” benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association on Friday, June 28, and Friday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For any size donation, you can have your car washed, and for just $5, you can enjoy a hot dog lunch while you wait. All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's.
