The Vail Place Performers are back for this year’s theatrical fundraising program – hosted by renowned close-up magician Suzanne and presented by our imaginary, but not illusory, KVAIL radio station. Do You Believe in Magic and Mental Health? is a mesmerizing hour of real – and really magical – stories!
Trillium Woods will host a community “Car Wash for a Cause” benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association on Friday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For any size donation, you can have your car washed, and for just $5, you can enjoy a hot dog lunch while you wait! All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Bring your dog! Trillium Woods residents are also hosting a dog party featuring an agility course, dog & owner caricaturist and a photo booth. The fun will be happening on the Grand Terrace along with the hot dog lunch.
Join Healthy Plymouth on Saturday, September 22, 2018 for the second annual Amazing Race. Race around North Plymouth following clues and competing in fun challenges all to benefit Healthy Plymouth Youth engagement initiatives, creating engaging out of school activities for youth as a substance abuse prevention strategy. Teams of 4 ages 10+ compete for the $400 cash prize. The event begins at Cordage Park in North Plymouth. Race time is 1PM- 4PM followed by a race afterparty with dinner provided by Mamma Mia's, prizes music and more.

2018 “Cody’s Dash for Down Syndrome” is on Sat. June 16th at Central Park in Hopkins. Our event is a 5K run/walk family event, with a kid’s dash, kid’s games, face painting, balloon artists, FREE Dilly Bars, live music, food trucks and much more!!! All of the proceeds from our event support the FREE therapeutic, educational, and social programs for children and adults with Down syndrome, at “Gigi’s Playhouse” in St. Louis Park.

Hammer Residences, Inc. is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1923 by Alvina Hammer, Hammer provides residential caring support for adult and children with developmental disabilities. Hammer Residences, Inc. serves more than 1500 individuals with a wide range of intellectual disabilities like Autism and Down syndrome. Hammer serves 284 people in 36 homes and 10 apartment complexes in the western metro of the Twin Cities. We also provide specialized services to more than 1,600 individuals in their homes.
