0.5K Winter Beer Dash

You don’t have to be a runner to enjoy this event! The Minnesota Brewery Running Series is hosting a dash between Bauhaus Brew Labs and 612Brew. The run only lasts a few blocks, and you’re invited to take your time getting from one brewery to the other. All are invited to participate, but to enjoy the beer you must be 21 and up. Beer Run

Join the Minnesota Brewery Running Series at Sociable Cider Werks for a fun run with a twist. Weave through the city with fellow beer enthusiasts and grab a free beer at the finish line. All participants receive a free craft brew along with a collector’s pint glass and swag. End the day with some live music and lots of food as a reward. Afton Apple Orchard's Apple Fest

Visit Afton Apple Orchard for its annual apple festival. Make memories with your loved ones by participating in this super fun seasonal activity that everyone is sure to love. Take a hayride into the orchard for apple picking or just for fun. The kids will want to conquer Straw Mountain or hitch a ride on the Moo Moo Choo Choo train. There is also a petting zoo for the youngsters to enjoy. Afton Apple Orchard is also home to a 15-acre corn maze! Minnesota Craft Beer Festival

Treat yourself with a tasting of unlimited beer, wine and cocktails, hosted at Target Field, the home of the Minnesota Twins. Enjoy the live entertainment or compete in a game of giant Jenga as you take in all the ballpark has to offer. Minneapolis Greek Festival

Experience a Taste of Greece at the Minneapolis Greek Festival at St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church. Try authentic Greek food, from gyros to baklava, while participating in the various cultural experiences available. Minnetonka Orchards Opens for Season

As fall arrives, it’s time for Minnetonka Orchards to open its doors for the season once more. Bring the whole family and get back to Minnesota’s agrarian roots with pick-your-own apples, plus a variety of pumpkins, squash and more homegrown produce. And this year, check out Painted Creek Winery & Cidery, recently opened on the grounds of the orchards, for a glass of locally made wine or cider. Woodbury Days

Woodbury Days, the city's biggest and most beloved summer festival, returns to Ojibway Park at the end of the month for its 41st year. Organizers report that, last year, almost 300 businesses participated in the event and more than 30,000 people attended. Check online for a detailed schedule of events, but don’t miss some perennial favorites: the business fair, the bingo tent, the petting zoo, the Taste of Woodbury, the beer tent…you get the idea.
