For the past five years, St. Paul has hosted the Red Bull Crashed Ice event right outside the beautiful Cathedral of St. Paul. As the third event in the tour, Crashed Ice comes back to Minnesota, and is projected to draw crowds of up to 100,000. 4th of July, hundreds of golfers come to Hollydale to enjoy the
course's anniversary celebration. Patrons draw their greens fee from a
basket containing rates that date back to 1965 when it was just $3 for
18 holes! Complimentary food and drinks are served all day and guests
can enjoy happy hour beer prices.

September 27 Celebrate sisterhood at Women Run the Cities, one of ESPN’s top five races for women in the nation. Organizers say that this popular event—featuring 10-mile and 10K runs, a 5K run/walk and a girls’ 1-mile run—is great for experienced runners and newbies alike. The courses start and finish at gorgeous Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, and track along the Mississippi River. Register online; spots fill up quickly. Girls’ run open to ages 4–12.
