DESCRIPTION:The City of Plymouth is set to host a free Plant Swap 4–6 p.m. September 14 at the Plymouth Maintenance Facility parking lot. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring perennial plants or gardening wares to swap them for new plants shared by others. To get involved\, participants should place plants in pots and label them with their common names. Seeds and plant wares—books\, pots\, tools and the like—are also acceptable swap items. \nPlant Swap participants should be on the lookout for jumping worms—an invasive earthworm species that poses a threat to mulch\, plant roots and soil.
