DESCRIPTION:Come out in support of the Waytonka Club for our annual Spring Marketplace. This event is composed of local vendors and artisans\, selling their wares and this year we will have a coffee truck and possibly a food truck. Proceeds will be given away to support people in the local communities. \nWe are a local women’s club composed of about 20 members from the Wayzata\, Plymouth\, Minnetonka areas. The club started back in 1937 by a group of nurses who wanted to give back to the community. Our focus is helping local families in need and we provide some small scholarships to local high school students from Wayzata High School and Minnetonka High School. The criteria for the scholarships is financial need \, significant volunteer work and students entering the medical field. Our estimate is that over the years we have provided about $150\,000 in scholarship money.
