When it comes to family vacations, the paths not typically taken can lead to the most interesting and fulfilling excursions.

Audiences have laughed with and recognized the funny and down-to-earth women in Church Basement Ladies since their debut 10 years ago. Now through November 15, audiences will get to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the nationally acclaimed musical comedy at Plymouth Playhouse.

On Saturday, March 21, students, families and friends attended “Prom through the Ages” at the 2015 West Lutheran Auction Fundraiser held at the Crowne Plaza in Plymouth. Dressed in their prom attire, guests posed for photos in and out of the photo booth.

The annual Providence Academy Parent Association Gala was held January 31 at the Golden Valley Golf and Country Club.

The second annual fundraiser last September at Wazata Country Club was a huge success. Residents participated to raise money in support of the Wazata Public Schools Foundation.

For the Past two decades, the Wayzata Community Church has been the performance venue of choice for many local and regional musical groups. “Simply put, it’s a beautiful place to hear and see concerts,” says Tom Paulson, director of music.

At Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners’ (IOCP) Midnight Madness fundraiser on December 3, local clergy, residents, IOCP board members and staff gathered to shop and socialize before sleeping outside at the annual Sleep Out event to raise awareness for homelessness.
