Picture Plymouth: An Icy Asymmetry

Experience the frostiest festival in town, Plymouth’s annual Fire and Ice.
Janet Brown’s honorable mention-winning entry, Winter Symmetry, was a finalist in the Nature and Wildlife category of the 2015 Picture Plymouth photo contest.

Plymouth celebrates its 27th annual Fire and Ice Festival this year from 3 to 7 p.m. February 6 at Parkers Lake Park. The community-sponsored event features a number of events, including recycling bin races, a youth ice fishing contest, the beloved goofy hat contest, hayrides and much more. Weather permitting, there will be live entertainment, a bonfire and on-site food trucks. The evening is brought to a close with a dazzling display of fireworks sponsored by the Plymouth Civic League beginning at 6:30 p.m. All events and activities, aside from food trucks, are free and open to Plymouthites and their friends and neighbors of all ages.
