Austin’s Hope: A Day of Support and Awareness

Come one, come all: This event will have live music by local artists Dan Israel and Steve Brantseg, games, food (while quantities last) provided by Jersey Mike’s and Jimmy John’s and other entertainment for the entire family. There will be a short program honoring Austin, education around brain injury and bike and traffic safety.

Austin’s Story: Austin Smith was involved in a hit and run while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Rockford Road and Vicksburg Lane. The crash left him blind, non-verbal, quadriplegic and with a severe traumatic brain injury.

Support the family:  A moment of distraction by another resulted in Austin requiring lifelong care. With your generous support, this event will help raise funds to bring Austin back home to Minnesota one day so he can live with his family again as he so deserves.
