Primavera

Primavera, Plymouth’s annual springtime celebration of the arts, is set for April 20-23 at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.

A partnership of the City of Plymouth and Plymouth Arts Council, this free event provides an opportunity for the public to view and celebrate fine art. Original juried artwork by local and regional artists, as well as artwork by Plymouth area high school students, will be featured in the art gallery and nearby classrooms at the community center.

Friday, April 21

• Wayzata Jazz Band 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (Black Box Theater)
• Awards Ceremony 7:00p.m.-8:00 p.m. (Black Box Theater)

Saturday, April 22

• Exhibit Open 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Art Gallery and Classroom 1A)
• Plymouth Concert Band Ensembles 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Black Box Theater)
• Artist Talk 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. (Artist – TBD) (Black Box Theater)
• Entertainment TBD 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., (Black Box Theater)

Juried artwork will remain on display in the Plymouth Community Center art gallery and available for public viewing through Saturday, May 20. Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
