This year, Entertainment in the Park returns to the Hilde Performance Center, featuring a phenomenal lineup of 11 different artists through the months of June and July, as well as the annual Plymouth Sings event and Kids Fest in August. Groups such as the Natyakala Dance Group, Bossa Soul and Blue Groove Bluegrass are slated to appear this summer.
Hosted by the City of Plymouth’s Chamber of Commerce, Entertainment in the Parks has made waves in recent years as one of the hottest events of the summer. “The City of Plymouth has been offering community concerts for over 20 years,” says Alyssa Fram, recreation supervisor at the City of Plymouth’s Chamber of Commerce. “Through the years, this event has evolved, branching out from concerts at our [Hilde Performance Center] to include our annual water ski show event, beach event series and movies in the park, to name a few.”
The event not only brings the community together, but also helps to provide exposure to local artists. Dates and event times vary, so be sure to check out the full lineup online at plymouthmn.gov.
