A Wayzata High School homecoming tradition inspired Thomas Gendreau to snap this lively crowd shot. “At halftime, they play the song Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, and everyone throws blue and gold baby powder into the air,” Gendreau says. The image stands out to him because of the emotion of the crowd. “There’s confusion, excitement and everything in between, and it shows the chaos frozen in time,” he says.
