The city introduces its first All Abilities Ride, Roll and Stroll.

Whether your wheels of choice are a mobility bike, stroller or wheelchair, the All Abilities Ride, Roll and Stroll is open to everyone and an excellent way to join the community in a leisurely outing around Plymouth’s Northwest Greenway this September. “There’ll be a couple different route lengths to choose from,” says accessibility and inclusion supervisor Paul Pearson. “It’s not a race; it’s just a nice walk through the Greenway.”

Pearson says he’s looking forward to bringing the community together. “For the past few years, we’ve been working in Parks and Recreation on more adaptive and inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities in the community,” he says. “A part of our planning process was thinking of a specific event we could do in our community for residents in the surrounding area.”

Participants are welcome to get started at 9:30 a.m. on September 19 at the Northwest Greenway Trailhead. “We’ll have lots of different activities, refreshments and vendor booth opportunities for nonprofits and other service providers in the area,” Pearson says.
