This May marks four years of celebrating Asian community, cuisine and performances.
The Twin Cities West Metro Asian Fair returns on May 30, transforming Plymouth’s Hilde Performance Center into a vibrant hub of culture and community. “The Asian Fair is more than just a festival—it’s a celebration of belonging,” says fair organizer Chen Zhou. “We are proud to create a space where cultures come together, stories are shared and the community grows stronger each year.”
From 11 a.m.– 9 p.m., visitors can experience the richness and diversity of over 20 Asian cultures represented by more than 80 organizations and small businesses. Special events include a cultural parade showcasing traditional attire, an interactive K-pop dance experience and a crowd favorite: the watermelon eating contest. Authentic cuisine, family-friendly activities and live music will also take place throughout the duration of the event.

The festivities amp up from 7–9 p.m. thanks to the new AF Music Night extension, during which many entertainers, musicians and vendors will continue the celebration. The event is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their family and friends for an action-packed day.

Beyond the festival, the fair remains committed to supporting the next generation through its Asian Fair Scholarship Program. This program honors Wayzata Public Schools high school seniors for continuous leadership and community involvement through a $500 scholarship.
