Cody's Dash

This year marks the fourth annual Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome to benefit GiGi's Playhouse! Get moving for a great cause. Sign up for a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, or a kids' dash, followed by an afternoon of big fun: music, face painting, food trucks, balloons and more.

All proceeds will benefit GiGi's Playhouse and the free programs and services they provide to the Down syndrome community throughout the Twin Cities.  Read more about Cody's Dash

Empty Bowls

Wayzata High School has hosted an Empty Bowls event for the past 20 years. For a suggested donation of $10, patrons will be able to choose a bowl out of nearly 1,000, each handmade by Wayzata students, then enjoy a dinner of steaming soup. Donations benefit Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners in the fight against hunger in the Twin Cities. Read more about Empty Bowls

West Lutheran High School Garage Sale

Find treasures, enjoy yummy treats and discover great deals at the annual West Lutheran High School Garage and Bake Sale.  The West Lutheran gymnasium will be filled with baby to adult clothes, house hold items, home decor and toys for your shopping pleasure. Shop Friday, May 9 from 7am-7pm and Saturday, May 10 from 8am-4pm. All proceeds will benefit Tuition Assistance.  Read more about West Lutheran High School Garage Sale

FARE Walk for Food Allergy, Minneapolis

The Fare Walk for Food Allergy brings together thousands of people seeking a safer world for the 15 million Americans with food allergies. The walk is a family-friendly event that will raise funds for food allergy research, education, advocasy and awareness. This special day in Minneapolis will include fun activities for the entire family. HERO Dog Product Launch

HERO, a new Minnetonka-based pet product company is launching a line of “HERO” products to raise awareness, money and hope for rescue dogs.  The company, which will donate a percentage of profits to rescue dog causes, is launching the brand through a crowdfunding IndieGoGo campaign that kicks off February 22 at Bubbly Paws at Excelsior and Grand.
