Ice fishing is one of the great Minnesota past times. Join other enthusiasts out on the ice at the easily accessible fishing holes, drilled close to plowed ice roads. Getting out to the ice is made easy with park-provided mats for easy passage through the snow. There will also be a special warming house. Snowshoeing is a great way to get some fresh air and exercise over the winter. Enjoy a guided hike through beautiful French Regional Park. All snowshoeing equipment will be provided. Don’t worry if you’re inexperienced; with a guide to help introduce you to the sport, this event is a great way to learn. Pre-registration is required. Ages 6 and up. 763.694.1750.
If you’re scared of yoga, if you are afraid you aren’t athletic or flexible enough, if you’re interested but don’t know where to start, or even if you’ve always thought you’d only ever give a yoga a try “when pigs fly”: this is the class for you. Sign up for any of the beginners classes online and the experienced and friendly yoga instructors at yogastudio will introduce you to easy, healthy fun yoga fun. All levels of experience welcomed.
